Pauline Sokol is an ex-nurse who is now working as an insurance fraud investigator. Her boss, Fabio, handed Pauline a folder, which would be her fifth case. It seems that one of his clients has seen an increase in plastic surgery submissions from one clinic - surgeries that insurance companies should not be covering. Pauline now had to investigate the clinic.
The Pauline Sokol series keeps getting better with each new book. These are not complicated mysteries to read but at the same time they will keep you in suspense and provide an entertaining read. Pauline is a character you will enjoy because of her enthusiasm to solve an investigation. No matter how hard she tries, she just can't get away from being a nurse from time to time. Goldie, on the other hand, provides the readers with a great deal of humor. What more can you ask for in a book - humor, suspense and a delightful, entertaining read. Be sure to add this one to your reading list.
